Well after two years of running the ALKY Control kit I finally got around to installing the controller the way I wanted to originally. I removed the rear window defroster and ordered a panel from Kirbans to make it look as factory as possible.

Thank you to Julio for getting me the horizontal decal and to Wes who likes to holler funnies from the back of the building while eating hamburgers with David Hassellhoff:D .

That's a very clean install, awesome. I'm not motivated enough to do anything else with the controller, I'll leave it wedged between the stereo and instrument cluster.

Thanks for all of the compliments guys, much appreciated.

54Rich,

It is very straight forward depending on your cars options. Sometimes that panel has a rear window defoger and remote passenger side mirror installed there. As for me mine came with only a rear window defoger that I never used so I ordered a no options panel from Kirban's. Once you install the new panel you will need to contact Julio at ALKYControl to get a horizontal decal. After that all that is left is to drill the holes, disassemble the control box and simply insert the switches through the holes. Believe it or not it was real easy. Just took a little time.
If you have questions just let me know and I will walk you through it.
