I don't want to be rude, crude, & socially unacceptable here but a seller named "carguy" with a seller satisfaction rating of only 95.2%. You might have been too trusting on this one. Hope all works out well for you on this, but I wouldn't want to bet on it.
 
I order from Full throttle and other venders, Full throttles is always here first and I'm in Alberta. Others I have waited months with wrong parts and long waits. We have short summers and shorter race time.
I say that the holidays and the end of year sale put alot of stress into the situation.. "you can please some of the people some of the time but pleasing everyone is impossible all the time"
He also might think that everyone is treated equal... big or small order. you nor anyone else can predict what happens with shipping or backups. New people, short handed etc.. we all try to make a living the best we can and do so amicably if your a good person. not everything can be seen forthwith.
I'm sure they will do right by you because they have for the thousands of other people that commend them. Just my Opinion. Thanks
 
Mike has always been great.

But modding cars and waiting on parts is part of the game. Some people do not always have every part you need on hand all the time. I had a trans out of my car because I got f'd buying a torque converter by Bowling Green Customs. My car was down for a month waiting for a converter. Mike came to the rescue on that one. That is why I make sure I have all my critical parts on hand before I tear something apart.
 
I ordered a stroker kit from them a while ago (along with balancer, flexplate, etc), and it came in little by little to my machine shop. In my case it was because they had to get the parts from the manufacture (RJC, J&W, etc).

They apologized for the delay, not much they could have done in my case.
 
First of all let me apoligize for the delays. We shipped out the parts we had ASAP we did run out of some things because of the sale, some shipments were delayed over the holiday. There was also a delay in getting an approval on a credit card on the 19th until well after UPS was here, Marianne worked quite a bit that day to resolve that problem. We did miss a couple items in the crazyness of those last couple days, we did ship them when Larry called us, he also told us we missed a set of main caps to him we did over night those to him at his request. All these parts were bought at the sale price and free shipping, to be honest there are no further discounts possible. (Side note we were closed from the 20-25) Also Nick while I am sorry you are upset and certainly have every right to be, Larry is the guy who bought the parts from us and he indicated that he was not upset and happy it got resolved. Once again let me apologize for the delay and our mistake, it does happen now and then we do our best to not make them.

I just got off the phone with Mike (Full Throttle), and I'm happy to say that the parts have been shipped, and shipped overnight. I was skeptical on whether this would turn out ok, but after speaking with Mike and with the due diligence of the Full Throttle team, things turned out better than expected. I am very happy the way I was ultimately treated as a customer.

I want to thank everyone for their posts, and most of all thank you

i never buy items over $50 from ANYONE off ebay with a rating no less than 99% and i still am cautious as to what happened to the 1% as i check the feedback religiously. & also check out the other items they sell & when other people received them, ive bought so much stuff off ebay its pitiful, at my job they call me EBAY-RAY!

Ive also spent $1000's with Full throttle taking advantage of this free shipping sale as a matter of fact one item that got left out last week came in today. i have only been waiting on a few items left and being the patient guy that i am i have to say IM TOTALLY SATISFIED with Mike , Marrianne , & Full Throttle all together. my engines being rebuilt and has been down 8 mo. a few more weeks no problem:D

MIke is a stand up vendor, i've ordered from him .. good to see things got worked out.
 
I remember the first year I had my GN. I bought all of my parts from him when he owned his shop. Not only did he show me the shop and tell me hundreds of dollars of advice, He sold me quality parts. I have had a good experience with my car because of him. I have not purchased anything from him in a while but I am going to shortly. I thank him for being there for all of us and going above the call of duty for me and my Bro several times.
 
Glad everything got resolved, I like Full Throttle so much that it almost offends me when someone isn't happy with them. I'm sure they got bombarded during the discount sale. They didn't have to offer 10%, they didn't have to offer free shipping, and they sure as hell didn't have to offer both, but they did it for us!

SHIPPED OVERNIGHT! So parts that you bought during the 10% off/free shipping sale were actually shipped overnight?! Do you know how much it cost to ship overnight :eek: Now if that isn't customer service I don't know what is. Sure, it's Full Throttle's job to sell parts and make their customers happy, but time and time again I see Mike handle his business with extreme class and professionalism.

Let's treat our top notch vendors with respect and give them the chance to make things right privately through phone calls, emails and PM's. We should not be starting negative threads over minor shipping delays (especially during the holidays). My .02.

He sure did get extra POSITIVE advertising here. They are a great vendor that I have never had a problem with

Full Throttle is by far the best vendor I have ever dealt with. I have been buying from Mike and Marianne since the Modern Muscle days. I bought a new turbo from Mike a couple of years ago and he didn't have exactly what I needed in stock but he said he could get in a couple of days. I told him I needed it by Friday(I ordered on Monday) and asked if that was possible and he said he would make sure I had it by Friday. I got it Friday morning over night delivery and he did not charge me for the over night delivery. Mike and everyone else at Full Throttle are first class.
 
I feel your pain about having a sour taste about a transaction with a Buick vendor but please believe Full Throttle is one of the best and your delays are certainly not "normal" for them. There are some Buick vendors that I simply refuse to deal with at this point, some vendors that I only use if I can't find a part anywhere else except from them, and one or two vendors that I will use no questions asked, and Full Throttle is one of the best.

As already stated, it's nobody's place to "guess" or "assume" what happened with your parts or why they handled it in the manner that they did, as soon as they see this post someone will give you the answers you are looking for.

As a side note I had a package from them scheduled to be delivered today, got disappointed after work when I find out it isn't here yet, check the UPS tracking number and they delayed it one day, so it is common that the shipping company causes more of a delay than the vendor.

Ditto on that, I have ordered quite a few parts and xmas gifts in the past 3-4 weeks. And due to the extreme weather we have had in the midwest, well hell all of the US the past three weeks, you can track packages online and most of mine were delayed. So in this case, it is ok to shoot the messenger. :biggrin:
