How many people replace bearings when they blow a head gasket?

I've lost my HG 3 times and my truck HG is currently fried. I am trying that bar HG sealer out on the truck. With all the steps to do it I should have just changed the HG . I just have to change the oil a couple times now and see if that stuff worked.
