:smile: I just found a scholarship from Morehouse University who issues scholarships to any 4 year college across the country IF You become a teacher and teach a subject. I am still thinking and imagining what subject I should teach, and WOuld Like your take....

(PS this is a part of the stimulus plan:smile:;):D:biggrin:)

That's what I'm thinking, auto shop and fabrication. U'd have all the cool tools at your disposal.

they still teach sex education

or is it all hands on now ( for student to student ) not trying to sound like the perv. JK i know they bundle that with health don't they?

I think you may want to research this a little more. I would almost guarantee you need to work in some inner city hoodrat infested school district. Otherwise every teacher in the world would get a free education.

Good luck Kid. Be prepaired for some issues since the government will set limits and screw you the first chance it gets.

Math or Science...you will be able to write your own ticket after about five years on the job...

I agree though the inner city is most likely where you will be placed...some schools are better than others...but many have very questionable teaching conditions and if you are not used to an urban area..it will definitely take some getting used to...

My advice...get certified in a subject that is in demand (I.E. Special Education) spend about five years in the classroom, by the end of your third year begin looking at School Leadership/Educational Administration programs..find one you are comfortable with and enroll..by the time you are in your fifth year..you can have your M.A. with a Type 75 Certification (Educational Administration)..and begin looking into management where the bucks are..and where you will have more power to make a bigger difference...

Good Luck...
