Designer Series brown/gold Limited is Home!
Well guys, I did get the guy to come to a realistic price on the car. I paid alot for it but it was much less than $21.5 he was asking. The car would have brought a ton more on ebay if it would have had no reserve or a least a realistic one. But from seeing it on autotrader with the $21.5 price tag and ebay and with the 20k plus reserve it stopped people cold from even bidding on it. I am sure several years from now the car is gonna be worth that price but probably not at this point. Quick6'n'-K.C. it would have been you and I and many others Im sure duking it out if it had been a no reserve auction.
I passed on the 29k mile burgandy/tan Limited that was in PA that is now in Florida that the guy is tryin to resell to land this car and man am I glad I did.
To say this car is rare would be an understatement. I knew it was possible to order one like this but I have been to the Nats since '95 and tons of other Buick events over the years and have never seen or heard of one in this color combo let alone in a Limited and neither had Kirban. I had been searching for this combo since I bought my sage car but I just didnt think the car was out there.
Anyways here is the low down on the car as others have asked about it in another post. The car was a lifelong Southern California car and belonged to a retired car collector. He had purchased it from a Hughes Aircraft engineer who had special ordered it in Dec. 86. He had other low mile immaculate TRs also, not to mention tons of other sweet Barret Jackson caliber rides that were just sick. You dont even want to hear about his house

He has no computer and is old school. He had his neighbor list the car on ebay for him.
The car just turned 40k org miles, hardtop, posi, plus all the other common Limited options plus a few rarer ones like factory security system, truck kit, exc. The car is absolutly amazing and 95% stock and untouched. Just to give you an idea It runs an extreamly close race with my light sage metallic limited show car that alot of you have seen at the Nats, it is that nice. The car does have 40k miles but is mind blowing how it does not hardly show any wear of any kind on the original paint. It could pass for 10-15k miles. The guy is a finnatic about his cars. The car had a bra on it whenever it was driven so it virtually has no nick/chips on the header anywhere and also has the wide chrome mudflaps which stopped anything from hitting the sides. The car still has the factory stickers on the wheels which still show the rainbow finish on them and are perfect, all of the tags underneath the car on the swaybars are still intact. All of the crayon marks are present. To say this car is as clean underneath and under the hood as it is on top would be the understatement of the year.

I have seen a ton of low mile immaculate cars over the years but this car is exceptional. The interior is just as nice as the rest of the car also. I also got every piece of paper I think this car has every been related to, 2 folders full! Original window sticker, manuals, GM Protection plan papers, exc. GM regular maintenance records, even all the oil changes were documented! Planning on keeping it original and stock also. Putting a set of original Eagle GTs back on it and probably hit the Nats with it in '07.
