I bought a car where the guy nearly disassembled the entire interior. I do not think I have the piece that seals the back edge of the door glass to the jamb. I dont care what color it is as Im going to repaint all the plastics anyways. Im also trying to source the material to recover my doorpanels( I think its called palex) Is there a vendor that stocks it or something close? (86 gn btw) Im also not totally sure how it ll goes back together, most of it is a no brainer but its the t tops/seals/trim pieces Im not sure about. If someone has a pic of theirs with the t tops out it would really help me out.

I think I found a more cost effective alternative on interior dye/paint. I had someone send me a sem chart and 15163 presido by sem looks to be very very close if not dead nuts on for a match. One vendor had interior paint they said was a match but after shipping it was going to be close to 30.00 a can!! Im going to order some and see how it looks.

That sem paint will be gray not the correct blue gray for an 86 GN. When we paint door panels we use that as a base as not to eat up too much paint. It is more of a Monte carlo color paint not a Buick color. If you need the DDL# We will give it to you. I took all the plastic out of mine & shot it at once.
As far as the t-top parts & placement this will help you out.

Check w/highway stars for the panels/material. I believe they carry it.

Oh wow thank you so much, that really really helps. As far as the paint goes, the one I looked at was really close but none on the chart was a perfect match. The presidio and the thomas bus grey were really close. Since most all of my parts are out I will probably do as you and shoot them all at once.

If I can buy the correct paint from you guys I would be better off if it is a good match. Ill check your site out.

Ill do that,Im going to attempt to recover the uppers and then attempt the headliner. Already ordered the material for the headliner. Thanks SHADOWII

We carry upper door panels ready to go.
Sem is inexpensive it just will not be correct.
I would order 1 can. If your happy with it take it to Napa or another paint store. They can then match it up. Trying to paint a whole interior with a paint can would not be cost effective even at $5.00 a can.
Spray the back of your plastic piece. We used our paint code to match the original A-pillar & speaker bezel. We figured this is the most visable paint color you would see. When I did my 86 I found about 6 different shades when they were laid out.

Yes I just looked at those, Im thinking Im just going to redo the entire interior at once, most of it is pulled out anyways. It will probably be easier to just say to heck with it and spend the money to make it new inside. I ordered one can of presidio but if it isnt even close Ill look into the paint you sell if its a good match.
