I love mine. I love when they break........gives me something to do. Constantly tweaking, tuning, and repairing is what comes with fast cars. However, I really cant complain about my T-type daily driver. A few things here and there, but has never stranded me! 36K miles in 2 years, I aint complaining. :)

Unscrew and unplug the seat belt lockers in the door jams and you will have slack free "euro style" seat belts but you didn't here that from me.

what i hate the most?

the damn car stole all my money, stood me up at gunpoint with my hands up and my pockets empty. sure as hell fun though;)
 
cast iron manifolds

Once they are cracked, they keep cracking. I dont have a TR, but the pass side plugs on the 307 are a nightmare. All i have replaced on the engine are the water pump(4) and the alternator(3). I have 140,000 miles on my original 200r4. Just my .02

I own a corvette that was almost $50K--11 years ago------i still prefer my:::
the original paint sucks
the door hinges will sag
the o2 FOULS all the time
it DOES have a powermaster
the stock fuel pump is long gone
the windows and t-tops leak like you wouldn't believe
this car handles worse than a bulldozer
i have spent eleventy-billion dollars on it(and fix or repair daily)


BUT when it is running correct--i actually have had viper'S tell me NO---with good reason----coolest car GM ever did(well i did have a 69 indy pace car camaro that was close)

If you get it----well you GET IT------------if not---move on----buy an 03 cobra-------------and sooner or later----you will get it.


Just an opinion.
