Just finsihed installing Aerospace Rear disc brake setup on my 86T. Install was straight forward-I did have to trim the housing some to make it fit but all is good. Went with slotted/drilled/zinc plated option on the kit. Got from Hartline for $575 and had it within 3 days of ordering.

Nice. For that price I'm not sure why everyone doesn't do this!!!
Beautiful. What size are the rotors?

Pro Street Rear dics brake kit

KIT INCLUDES:
• Billet Aluminum 4 Piston Calipers
• Billet Aluminum Mounting Brackets
• Grade 8 Hardware

That's awesome for the price. If you can go into detail about what exactly had to be modified, I might be purchasing.

rear disc

They are the "Pro Street" kit not the drag race version so I see no issues with usage...my car is not a daily driver...

weight savings

I did not use a scale but having the drum/brake shoes/backing plates/wheel cuyliders and all hardware in my hand vs. the Aerospce rotor and billet aluminum caliper I would say there is a differnce in weight for sure...I'm guessing 10lbs each side....just a guess...

emergency brake

This system does not. they do make one with that but that system cost $895

shock relocation ?

No Relocation Of Anything....nerver Even Touched The Shocks...only Real Mod Was Trimming Of The Axle Housing.

Looks like Baer finally has some competition on the rear brakes. Looks killer!
