Unfortunately, it looks as if John might be moving far away to NYC. We will be sorry to see such a nice guy leave for the fast paced corporate world of NY. His very nice SII GN has just recently been posted for sale on ebay. It looks as if he will not have much time for it in the near future.

Tomorrow Night!

If you have not seen any of the promos on SPEED by now, Pinks All Out is on tomorrow night at 7:00, 8:00 & 9:00pm CST.

Here is some sneek peek photos of John at the event. You might also recognize TSM racer and LSPBC member John "SPOOLD" Martin in the photos. John, Ryan and several other Buicks in attendance really represented our community well! The massive crowd was really into it.

Here is a public service announcement for TiVO users that I posted in another related thread:

TIVO USERS READ THIS:

Even if you have a "Season Pass" for Pinks!, TiVO users should add "Pinks-All Out" to their To Do List. I just checked mine and even though I have a "Season Pass" to Pinks, the TiVO was not smart enough to schedule the "Pinks-All Out" episodes. It says there are 5 upcoming episodes: 8, 9, 10PM and 1 and 4 AM on the 24th. I don't know how long the entire special is because it's shown broken up into 1-hour increments. Because the description of each 1-hour segment is exactly the same, the TiVO will only record the first one by default (it assumes the others are repeats). I had to go in and manually request that it record all 5 episodes. I'm guessing the 8, 9, and 10PM episodes comprise a 3-hour special. I'm not sure what they're putting on at 1AM and 4AM but I'm recording that anyway.

Thanks for the heads up Jim! I checked ours and had to correct it as well. As for the three hours back to back I don't know for sure if they are segments. It would surprise me if they are, however; I don't see how they could possibly tell the whole story of what went on there in one hour either. Especially considering that their normal shows have a substantial amount of comercial breaks. I guess we will have to wait and see. Either way, I am double covered now thanks to your tip!

You're welcome. Someone else mentioned that they thought the special was 2 or 3 hours. Three hours seems way too long, 2 hours seems plausible. I might not be around to watch so I recorded all 5 1-hour segments.
