How Disappointing! That Will Cost $5-10g's Off The Sale Of That Car. I Think That Car Would Have Sold For The Buy It Now Price If Won.

The Show Should Have Said "pinks" Bracket Racing..... Not, All Out!
But I Was Enjoying It Till The Gn Broke. Still A Great Performance For The Gn.

Definetely a good episode, glad to see the 2 GNs in there. I even saw the red Talon from Forced Performance, too bad they lost the first race.

Keep Your Head High. You Did Good, Just Getting On The Show..your Car Looks Geat...

thats ****ty. he would have whooped that chick otherwise. all day long.... ahh well... good race though man. We all know your car was the baddest there anyways... See the guys reaction when he said "Buick grand national"? "THATS a crowdpleaser!"
Though, what happened in that first race, to that grey t type? anyone know?

It obviously would've been nice for the GN to get a clean run, and then go all the way but I think if the GN had to 'lose', that was the best way for it to happen. Didn't get beat, so the mystique is still alive. Still sucks to lose that way, but an awesome showing for TRs!

That was awsome...a hell of a lot better than their typical BS sand baging shows. As for the Buick guys, very well done  Also, did the grey Regal break?

Just incase, Pinks is showing the epasode again if anyone missed it.

What a bummer...he could have gone all the way.

That was a bad truck though.
Did anyone notice the back wheel of the truck during her burnout, it was moving around like it was bent or shuddering.

I'm wondering if maybe the gray T lost traction and got loose, I swear I saw the brake lights flash shortly after the hit.

Looked like the T broke.

The GN was racing the eventual winner. If he hadn't jumped at the start he may have taken it all. Bummer...Good Showing Overall. :)

The truck did run good all night.

Much better than the old pinks, Alot of racing!!! Less BS..

Awesome seeing the GN, Since he won his second round because of a breakage, it was fitting to lose like that.

Either way he made a great run and the car was extremely nice. I was on the edge of my seat every time he was up. Did Buicks proud for sure!~!

Yeah it was cool to see em go balls out instead of the BS and sand bagging.
It brought out some nice race cars since titles weren't on the line.

He didnt break, he just moved too soon while first starting to build boost...
He forgot to set the T-BRAKE...

That was definitely a good show to watch tonight and he did a great job.

Funny, the turbo buicks that made it to the top 16 werent racecars, the other cars they raced looked like cut up and "lightened" vehicles.

The announcer guy, John Christianson??? face was priceless... OHH OHH A GN, thats a crowd pleaser:biggrin:

Good races :)

Man, my heart sank when I saw the car move. Sure wish John could have gone farther. It was a treat to watch.

The grey TR is owned by another Texan and TB member named Ryan. He was running real hard with his 109. Unfortunately, I think he blew the HG in round one against his opponent. It sounded real nasty when it went. I think that he had a pretty good chance of winning that round if that had not happened.

John actually made it to round 3 were he accidently forgot to flip the switch to turn on his transbrake. He just could not hold the boost down on the footbrake. Of course, by the time he realized that it was not on, it was too late. It only moved about 2ft but that was enough for Rich to call it a premature launch. I know that I would have definately been nervous in his shoes. He was really wanting the money to help pay for graduate school at SMU. They did tell us after it was over that his pass in round 2 was about a 10.09. I think that were it not for this accident, the ending would have been in his favor.

My only dissapointment is that in order to condense all the footage into one hour, a LOT of action was left out. They also managed to crop the some 10 of us down there on the starting line to support him. We were all wearing our "Big Bad Buicks" logoed T-shirts. It was much more fun being there and listening to the crowd go nuts everytime John advanced! There were people packing the balconies and hanging over the rails in front of all the luxury suites at the tower. It was like one big party.

I've condensed the relevant Turbo Regal portions into a 20MB WMV file. If you have an e-mail address that will take a 20MB file and want a copy let me know via e-mail or PM.

Actually after watching it again, I missed two key TR-related pieces. It's now 30 MB.
