It appears the car has some sort of Aussie rustproofing from the factory.

I declined the extended warranty due to 427 lsx motors with a turbo set up would not be covered.

I wouldn't hesitate too long. Some of the dealers that still have new 06 GTOs on the lot are starting to mark them up over sticker. There are no new ones being made and the last 200 were unloaded of the boat a couple of months ago. As far as I know there are only about 50 GTOs still on the lots nationwide. The used market prices have stopped dropping too much also.

I just picked mine up a couple of weeks ago. I'm looking at STS systems. I'm not looking for a 600 hp monster. Mid to low 500 RWHP will be fine with me. With a Turbo 4 banger (95 Eagle talon), a Turbo 6 (GN), I think its only fitting to have a Turbo V8. :biggrin:

I love the Blue color! Nice looking car.

I am sure Mike can steer you in the right direction with the mods for your Goat, he has been leading the pack in LS technology for years.

Good move on declining the warranty, with the powerplant you are putting in there no warranty will cover that for sure.

I started buying from mike back about '98 when I bought the GN. I think I still have a 93 and 108 chip for stock injectors from him kicking around somewhere! :biggrin: I haven't decided what direction to take. Right now the GTO is my DD. The talon will probably take that duty back over, but I think I need to get rid of it while it's still worth something. Might be able to get enough out of the Talon to pay for most of a TT kit. Then all I'd need is for Mike to come down to sunny south florida and install the kit!! I only have a carport (where the GN sleeps) so it may be a little warm, but I do have a nice set of Rhino Ramps to help with the install!! :biggrin:
