Painting a GN something other than black?

I'm pretty sure it was a TR not a GN, almost positive because I recall reading Rick talking about painting the chrome bumpers white.

Chuck is completely right here. The fist GN wasn't black.:biggrin: I have one and it would be cool if some one that has an SFI IC car did something like it.

Not sure I would personally ever paint a GN any color other than black, but I must say Geno's GN looks great with that dark green color.

You would never know that car was green unless you see it in the sun at the right angle. Looked black to me. then I was like woah, its green. sweet color too

I have been thinking of going two tone with mine black on top and dark gray maybe WH1 colors but have the gray go all the way to the bottom instead of the center stripe. Also I don’t know what color it was but I seen a little ford car the other day it was a new car and it was black but it had blue flake in it was cool only looked blue when the sun hit it other wise you would have thought it was black.

Mine is silver. Actually it is an silver 85 T-type I converted with a complete totaled 87 GN. I loved the GN interior, but hated the upkeep of black.

I like the color of my GXP Torrent , Carbon Black Metalic. It's still black but up close you see the metalic.

I had a GN with 195,000 miles on it and bought another one for a parts car. Turned out the parts car was a jewel in disguise. I stripped it and painted it white. Always thought a white one would be cool. Turns out I was right.

Ya I'd give the car up 100 times to have him back for a day. It's actually 2007-08 Honda accord color they call it blue black, but we added a lil bit of pearl to it and it's a mile deep.

Mine will never be anything other than black. Imho,some colors look nice,such as white or silver or gray. Once crazy colors and graphics start,...*ick*.

My '87 GN just looks really sinister at night with a nice shine to it.

Was passing thru downtown Albany,NY Saturday night at about 11pm. A tux-wearing caterer crew was loading their trucks in front of a pricey hotel.

One of them yells out: " Wholly sh**,look! ...it's a Grand National!" Light turbine sound and rumble as I pull from the light. I just love stuff like that.
