There has to be something better than qa1 out there.. we had qa1 on the Mustang and kept blowing seals on the struts.. for the fast guy's anybody running the old schooler Lakewood or Ce 50/50;s? I mean do you really need 12 way adjustable for the rear?:D

my car has chassis engineering 50/50 on the rear. they seem to work well. i like them. i just ordered the chassis engineering 90/10s for the front.

There ARE better shocks out there. Do some googling on drag shocks and you can spend HOURS reading about shocks. Dave Morgans book "Doorslammers" has about 1/3 the book devoted to just shock absorbers. The book is a great read, though it may be a bit out of date with all the new double adjustable computer controlled shocks out there today. NHRA Pro Stock cars run shocks that require a second mortgage to buy:eek: .
Research some of these options: BaselineSuspensions.com.........Launching A Drag Car
MOSTLY SUSPENSIONS
Drag Chassis Tuning Package: Door Slammers Chassis Book
Koni North America - Racing Division - Drag Racing

Have you tried the Koni SPA-1's?

I just put Strange on my pro street car BTW they are the double adjustable ones. because I heard about QA-1 leaks and warranty issues. Not saying they are bad I just decided a different route And I can't say about the strange yet because 0 miles on them.

Strange Engineering Catalog These look like they would replace stock style rears go to page 113

Best shocks our there are double-adjustables by Afco, Chassisworks (varishocks), and Strange. Afcos are about $700/pari, Vairshocks about $600/pair, not sure about Strange.

I've had qa1's for about 1.5 years now with zero problems. I went to the double adjustable varishocks for 2007 since they have more adjustability and seem to have good feedback from people who use them.

Sorry for the SPAM. But, I've got a set of low mileage 12 way adj. QA1s in perfect shape that I will sell for 180.00. They were going to Ebay shortly but thought someone reading this thread might be interested.
