I wonder how much power it made. seems like the pull took an awful long time.... maybe the driver just kept on it too long and gave it too many RPM's. My bud's got one and he tells me they can only handle so much RPM before the stock rods let go.

good excuse for an upgrade to motorsport parts anyways.....

I saw a guy at the local track with a GT like that and a procharger or vortech that broke ribs in the belt each time he hit the Rev limiter. On his last pass he hit the limiter going in to 2nd and then going to third, a ton of white smoke followed. It was at least a bottom ten high nine second car too. I wonder if he blew a hg or did his bottom end let go also?

It baffles me how some people modded and race a car that can be so complicated and expensive to repair. He had to remove the supercharger to change the belt! Make the TRs look like working on a 4 cylinder in an 88 surburban...:D

He shouldn't have posted that video. Can't ditch the car on some abandon road and claim it was stolen now.

When you see flames like that you hurt more than head gaskets. Probably burned the heads, block, and bent rods and crank. No to mention anything else that got fried when the flames shot out.
