Got my Powerlogger back up and running. Reading the LC-1 on the scanmaster....Man that is awesome!:D

Just wondering what everyone's WB reads at full throttle. I am running 93 octane at 16 pounds of boost, mine is reading 13.5ish at WOT. Normal driving it's around 14.7ish. No knock, I think it's good but I remember reading most wanted it around 11.3-11.5, but that could have been for alcohol though.

You're running pretty lean!! But then again, you're at 16# of boost. I like mine around 11.5, no leaner than 12.0, but I run around 20# of boost in high gears, 93 octane.

If one is running alky, they say it's better to be closer to 11.0 or high 10's.

Dave,

Thanks for responding. Lean is mean, but I don't want to run it on the edge either. I will add some fuel through the chip to bring it down a little. BTW how are you running 20# on 93? Retard the timing??

I'm running the translator pro, and extender pro chip combination, soooooo..... I have the chip controlling "normal drive" timing like most everybody else, but when it comes to WOT timing, the translator has user controllable WOT timing tables. I run my WOT timing around 17°, but that's not all.
I also am running two stages of boost control AND two stages of WOT timing control via the Translator pro. I use the 3rd gear signal from the tranny to trigger the Pro's aux input, and that in turn can scale my boost and timing when 3rd gear hits.
So. In 1st and 2nd gears my boost is 22#, and WOT timing is 18°, when 3rd gear hits I have the timing pulled back to 16.5° and the boost pulled back to 20#

You are way lean. Don't go WOT until you correct the problem. You should be in the 11.7:1-12ish range at that boost level and pump gas. You don't even want to run an N/A car at 13.5 to one, my old N/A firebird for ex ran best at 12.7:1. You are liable to eat a piston running as lean as you are.

Here's a pic of what mine reads. Pretty steady 11.3:1

Added fuel through my turbotweak chip, all is good. Wonder why I was not getting knock? I know my knock sensor works correctly. I get false knock at startup and on 1-2 and 2-3 shifts and when I tap it as well.
