That was still awesome IMO.... Great job guys. Goes to show it doesn't take a 100K to go fast! Thanks for the inspiration!

Aaaa, who needs compression. Just need a little more boost to compensate.
My bet's on a cracked ring.
Keep us posted.
Confucius say:.....Junk fly's. (Just never know for how long)
I think bottom tens proves it's point to most, but the 9.99 would have been sweet and driven the point home.
The best is when you go 1.5 seconds faster than them with the said junk than others have with much more expensive non junk parts. If it breaks it breaks. If it exploded oh well. I have 2 other "junk" shortblocks I could throw in and two girdled steel rotaters and a stage 2 soon enough. What if it breaks. I really don't care. I'm racing and expect breakage. If you race and don't expect to break then you should find another hobbyI really like stock "junk" . Just don't cry when it goes BOOM !! People always ask me "what if it blows up?" Everything is goin to blow up sooner or later.![]()

Looks like Brett's reverse fanny pack is making Otto's nipples hard.Or am I wrong?
This is the black car. I doubt I'll ever run the blue car again. No bar in that one and I already know what it will run. I'm hoping the engine stays together. If it does there will be no disappointment. One thing I can assure is that it's not going to run 10's and go back on the trailer. So far 12 people are wrong.[/QUOTE
Is this the car you're bringing to Noble to race me?

Perhaps but you won't be running against the same engine. This is the black car. I doubt I'll ever run the blue car again. No bar in that one and I already know what it will run. Please tell Me that's not a fanny pack. Guys , Please. Its 2011. No Fanny packs or sweaters tied over the shoulders. Ask any HOT chick & they will tell You. You'll hit 9's next time. Must have been jinxed by the pack.
Brian, didn't you rip apart a stock piston once before from high RPM? My vote is cracked piston.![]()
Wrist pin bore from the high pressure leads to failures.

I have a guy with a rod knock but it's only audible when the motor decells. Oil pressure is good. Got to be wrist pin.
