We may have to open it up to any 3 bolt, .63 exhaust housing as good rebuildable garrett housings can be hard to find. A lot of the ones i find are cracked or in poor shape.

I dig it and good job at ditching the tranny brake and no aftermarket rims.
I bet someone will run a 10 someday with the freedom of mods that have been allowed. Best part is the community will be able to brag to the other turbo communities that a GN did it on a stock turbo and intercooler.![]()
I see what you mean on the turbo housings, but how many will really run this class for it to be an issue where you can not find them on the market??
Hell get em from the Mustang and Camaro guys who have been buying two stock turbos from us for their twin turbo piles.![]()
Not a fan of keeping the stock headers since you can upgrade the exhaust, maybe limit it to the Postons since they resemble the stockers pretty closely?
Allowing the TTA's is a good move to keep the class alive, even though they are sort of a Hybrid right, factory hybrid must be the loop hole.

3-in downpipe is allowed. It must be routed down through the stock location.
Alcohol injection is allowed.
How about running a 8" slick instead of the 10" slick??
Any MAF??
Does the stock turbo have to have the Garrett .63 exhaust housing on it??

You know I keep coming back to the original drag radial idea for this class...
I think you should be able to run either a slick or a drag radial. Also, again why the stock wheels? If you want everything looking stock, then why let any 3" DP in?? They don't look stock at all.![]()
These dam threads get me all interested, they sound real good."at first"
And here come all the control freaks with a million rules.
1-stock 109 block to what ever 30 over equals in cubes.
2-stock heads with what ever in them.
3-stock exterior intake manifold, dog house and TB with any work inside.
4-Stock turbo
5-stock injectors (this is the real limit) what can be done with no extra fuel.
4-if you open the hood can you see the trans? Not really so who gives a dam.
5-tires and size come on that’s BS.
I personally would love to see a class that does not allow strokers, allows only iron heads and factory appearing parts with the turbo limit being up to a TE-60, 3-in DP, only mass produced stock location intercoolers and factory rims using up to a 275/60-15 drag radial, stock ECM and alchy. but those are just my thoughts. I guess a true bolt on class for the average Joe. The rules would have to be fairly tight to keep from having to compete with cubic dollars. There would be no big money payouts, only a plaque and maybe a couple of hundred dollars, but these are only my thoughts and I will tune the rules to whatever the masses want it to be.

So if I read this correctly you can not use aftermarket injectors? If you can't, get the track crew ready to clean up the track or watch a bunch of 13 second cars run...
Jason
I made a 12.7 pass this year in a stock injector car with the stock downpipe, intercooler, 90° elbow and factory exhaust with a test pipe. It had a Eric Marshall chip, Julio's meth kit, a cold air kit, and 235 drag radials. The boost was 18psi in first and second and 20 in third gear.
Would have been a 12.2 car with the convertor locked and more boost.
Running that type of car really makes running a stock turbo FUN!!
Keeping the cars stock appearing as possible will always keep the competition guessing
Jason, not all stock injector cars are running 13's
Look below for reference:biggrin:
