Stumped on removing counsel trim and gauge trim

I have a 80 sport coupe and the gear indicator bulb is burnt out on the floor shifter. Altough I am not sure if there is even a bulb there. I cant see any screws anywhere to remove it. Help! Also I would like to customize my gauges with blue bulbs but cant get the wood coloured trim off the gauges because there are no bolts also anyone done this before?

cant help you on the floor shifter but the dash piece is held on with lil clips. jus start at one corner and pull hard... they will jus pop right off. there the same kind as the trim piece as around the radio and Ac

Pull out the ash tray and you'll find two screws under there.

All I have to do is take out those screws and it will come out? I will try pulling on the dash hopefully nothing breaks.
