Been selling these vacuum blocks for a while and decided to finally install one on my own GN. Didn't feel like doing the air hose route so went with teflon braided hose. Pricey but I like working with the stuff. The six ports are drilled and tapped for 1/8 npt and one of the holes is drilled to a larger diameter for the PCV.

Here is what I ended up doing. Not running a PCV (not to be debated here!) but I did need a port for my vacuum brakes. Drilled and tapped the side of the doghouse for a 3/8 NPT fitting and used a Summit Racing billet check valve for the booster and ran -6 braided hose for it. Note-used regular rubber braided hose for this.

On the passenger side I ran one hose to the MAP sensor, I ended up using a 1/4" compression fitting and after removing the nub on the end this worked fine. Used some wire conduit over this hose as it runs along the wiring harness and didn't want it rubbing anywhere.

The other line on the passenger side is for my hood mounted boost gauge that sits next to the fuel pressure gauge.

The Hobbs switch is for my Boost-a-pump.

Drivers side, short line to the fuel regulator, I plugged the hole on the top and drilled and tapped for a fitting on the side since this line would have been to short to plumb from the top. Another line goes to the HVAC/cruise control and the last line to the Vapor Canister. EGR is elimated and I teed off the line to the vapor canister to my BOV (to be debated elsewhere!)

Wanted to keep all boost to the teflon lines and used brass check valves before the vapor canister and the HVAC line.

Not a cheap project but won't have to worry about hoses letting go any more. Will be doing the same thing from the turbo to the manual boost controller and external wastegate next.

Sweet. How about a kit for $19.95!!!! Seriously.... What fitting did you use for the MAP sensor? Where you get it? Been trying to find this out for a while....

It is just a brass 1/4" compression fitting 90 degree to 1/8 NPT thread. Then used a female 1/8 NPT to -4 adapter to go to the braided line.

looks Great Mark!!!! always like when people think "outside of the box" –

Sigh...I decided to run my lines super trick also...and now u had to go and make it look better than mine!!! GRRR :P Looks phenomenal

Looks good Mark.
Maybe want to try and put some sort of anti chaffing sleeve , etc where those braided lines run next to fuel lines, wires, etc.
It will "cheese Grate" them faster than you would think.

Looks great! I'm actually planning on doing something similar to this. Could you please take more up-close shots of the passenger side please? Thanks!

Read 3rd paragraph of initial post.;) Any hose coming in contact or near wires have split wire conduit over them.

Will take some more pics this afternoon.

Just finished up last nite and haven't driven it yet. Methinks it probably didn't change a thing. But that's the negative in me. Will see tomorrow nite, going to some deal in Killingworth.

More pics.
