I hadn't really put my transbrake to the test until last night (other than some 5-6 lbs launches), I have a Pat's 3,400 stall converter. While on the brake I hit 3,400r.p.m's with "0" boost, then boost comes up very fast, still at 3,400 r.p.m.'s as soon as I see over 15lbs my r.p.m.s climb like the car is in neutral, still doesn't move and I easily hit 20+ lbs of boost. I let off once I saw over 4,800 r.pm.s.
I was wondering if I have a converter that stalls at 3,400 r.p.m. how is it possible that I am able to rev past that while on the transbrake. I could hit 20 lbs in less than 3 seconds if I mat it. Any chance I hurt anything? A two step is on it's was just sorting some other issues out until then.
