Hi Guys, One of my Buicks is a fairly stock car using a TTA's fpr, 009's inj, Eric's adjustable street chip and a 340 pump, hot wired on 100 octane.

Have several questions with this combo using the 237 fpr.......

What is the max fuel pressure of the 237 fpr?

What's the expect boost range one can safely run with the non adjustable 237 regulator? I can add fuel with the chip if need, but I'm not really sure where the 237 fpr will give up the ghost.

I'm current at 18 psi boost, street chip timing, no knock, looking for 3 more tenths in the 1/8 mile. The only tuning tool I have w/ me is the scanmaster. I should have brought my direct scan and I fuel pressure gauge.

Currently running 8.65's over & over w/ the car in the 1/8 and need 8.49's

I would get a adjustable reg to be safe. I don't think the chip can provide the additional fuel needed to run more boost safley IMO.

yup...what he ^^^ said

Eric likes you to set the fuel pressure to 43 as a starting point...

The 237 is designed to be at 43psi base pressure, so you're good there.
There is no boost limit on a 237 regulator. It's just as good as any adjustable (just not adjustable...lol). It will raise fuel pressure 1psi per 1psi boost just like an aftermarket regulator (as long as its working right).

Eric Thanks for the tip last night...I got what I needed today. Matter a fact a little to much so now I need to back it down.
