Two Lane & Jack from Racetronix, you know the age old saying, you get what you pay for, and that means for me I'm getting alot already. . My combo won't be maxing out this turbo for a while I don't think, and ball bearing wise, all I really wanted was the single bearing on the thrust side. Should spool just fine for me. Hell, my te52 spools like crazy, and if that turbo gets spinning like this one does, I'll be happy. I have every confidence that it will. Anyway Jack, Gonna have to save some beans because I have a feeling I might be needing some injectors.
Really? I was thinking 72's. Seems like I got my 50's on that group purchase yesterday. Hate to see em go so soon. They drive nice. 25 MPG my last trip out of town. I could'nt believe it. so I did the simple math on paper. I was thinking that I couldn't divide right so I did it again. Anyway, I've gone from 30's to 40's to 43's to 50's. That is why I'm reluctant to go to 57's. But I also know nothing about this injector. You are gonna have to do some talking to make mebelieve thatthey drive as good as these 50's.
How things snowball, I just wanted a quicker than average street car to blow stangs off the road on the way to work. Hope I am not getting in over my head. I drive this thing ALOT. Might have to make the 59 my daily.
Too late now, but with the right chip custom burnt for your combo, you could've gone straight to the 50s, with climbing up any "injector ladder". Now, entering the low-imp zone, you don't have to do it again.
Fellows are cranking, idling, & flying with 72s/83s on the street/track...smoothly with a healthy safety margin re: injector DC.
It's all in the chip...the best custom chipmakers will have no problem accomplishing an excellent fuel curve for your combo.
Let me highly recommend Bob Bailey for the low-imp mod on the ECM and for the chip for your new, and likely last, injectors.
