For some reason I cant attach the photos from the email with the license plate and address, but I can forward them if needed.

Sad that such a level of ID check is needed nowadays, but I have been burned before. Worked for me in this instance. Upon closer inspection of the regal, it isnt white, might be glare, but it is a regal, color is dark not white. I cetainly hope this gets fixed.

I appreciate everything everyone is doing. Paypal is wanting to give me anything until after the claim process is done. Since others have received their parts I hope this is just a big misunderstanding but with him unwilling to respond in any way I know this is what anyone would be doing.

Always use a charge card when using PayPal. PayPal is next to worthless for settling misunderstandings after the sale. Using my charge card was the way that I go my money back from dear 'ole Marvin and PayPal. My charge card company just yanked it back from PayPal after receiving the facts from me.

Paypal kinda leads you to believe that they can get you your money back if you dont receive the merchandise but that is not true.

You are 100% correct, and i feel for you bud. I too have mine not setup with a credit card. I dont like cards but to build credit, you have to have it.

Then again, people do live outside their means when they have them, thats always been my fear if i have more than one card.

Please pm the guy many times so he knows whats up. He has been on the board multiple times since late october.

He has not logged in since last time he PMed me to let me know he supposedly got the trans back after shipping it. Credit cards are not as good for your credit as people think. They help establish credit but not build it. Getting loans and paying on time is what helps most.

You can get a debit card and use it and it will work just like a credit card for this type of transaction. No credit to use but the company will do the exact same thing.

I could have done that. I do have a debit card so that I dont have to carry cash or a checkbook everywhere. What I did was I opened a savings account to link the paypal account to just for paypal so that I could only leave X amount of dollars in the Paypal account. Live and learn I guess. If Paypal or my bank doesnt do anything my cousin has offered his attorney to me. I already emailed all three of his email accounts and informed him that I am willing to go all the way and that he doesnt want to do that. He does not want a felony on his record. It will ruin his life.

Yes but the purpose of using the credit card is that a 'cash' transaction never takes place... ie. YOUR money is never involved, until you pay your credit card bill... thus, it is MUCH easier for visa/mc to just 'cancel' the transaction..... with a debit card, the CASH comes straight out of your linked bank acct, and then you must somehow recover the cash... much harder and less likely....

Very true Brian, if you use it at a cash machine but if you regester it as a credit card then it works the same. It takes 3 days to take the money out of your bank but it's considered a credit transaction so it's treaded exactly like you used a credit card. YOu can fight it the same exact way.
