I had a set of the morels that had axles moving to the side in less than 1000 miles. I could move them with a puch and the tiniest hammer I had. DLS warrantied them out but I went to 885s. The new morels I got had a small C clip to keep the axle located.

Every lifter company I have talked to says that if the needles are getting beat up its can be a sign of valve float and wrong springs/pressures. How are the springs and pressures??

I bought a Roller set up from Full Throttle Speed and the lifters it came with said Erson on them, does Erson make Morel lifters? Should i be concerned? Engines been running good and is fairly quite.

Yes...The "morel" designed lifters are also badged as Erson, I got the same lifters from Full Throttle...no issues so far at 6k miles

Same lifters here from Full Throttle. Mines were marked PBM. So far 2 years no issues.

Guys Mike blew a head gasket he was not having lifter issues when he found this.

I remember a few years back somebody here had the same problem with their Morels falling apart like that.

How can you tell it was negatively rated? I am in Tapatalk and have no way to tell. I have no clue why anyone would rate this subject dumb.

I also had an issue with Morels and have been following this thread.

A few years ago someone posted pics of the roller pins sliding out of their NEW morel.
He caught it before installing.
What a mess that would have made!

I would like everyone to know that I did NOT post this to slam TA Performance in any way. Pretty hard to hide the TA on the tie bars. I'm in NO way pissed or that upset about this lifter problem I just wanted all to see this strange failure. NOW !! here's the real surprise, I'm sitting here Friday night and around 6M the phone rings and I see it's TA Performance. I answer the phone and It's Mike ( The owner of TA ) he got wind of my lifter problem and calls me and we chat about this lifter dilemma for 20 - 25 minutes. I tell Mike that I didn't call and gripe about them as I knew they were purchased about 3 years ago so forget any warranty (Right? ) Mike remembered the loose axle problem with some of them way back when and was one of the guy's that got it corrected. My lifters were some of that batch.
Well, Mike tells me to return them and he's going to do his best to get me a new set of lifters. Iv'e dealt with all the Vendors threw the 24 years Iv'e been at this game and this is the FIRST time one has called me about a problem I'm having. I can't hardly put into words what I thought of Mike doing this. I have dealt with and talked to Mike just a few times threw the years and for him to do this just goes to show me what type of people he really is. I don't and never have expected anything for nothing but I call this being a REAL business man and taking care of his customers. Win, loose or draw Mike's a hell of a guy. I'm not too sure why my post was rated dumb either. I'm on Tapatalk the majority of the time so it does not alert you of any ratings received. Maybe he fat fingered it, maybe not. I won't say who it was. Maybe he'll see this and chime in...

Glad to see TA performance step in and take care of it, even though he didn't have to! Keep us updated on this.
