i went to boneyard found leather interior from 94 park ave, paid 50 bucks, came home, pulled out my cloth 60/40, backseat as well and inserted nice and comfy, i'll wire up the seats tomorrow.
seats look better in person then in pic, pic they look kinda ratty but i do need to get conditioner on em
As far as the bottom cushin in back, there was no hump so i had to custom fab, curved peice of stock, cut out middle section of seat frame with some foam and tacked the stock on then re wrapped the leather.

all in a days work

well i got to replace my blown head gasket from last sunday's fun day @ the local drag strip.

i made several good passes till...................

mine wouldnt be so bad if i didnt pull every part out of the engine bay and undue the whole wire loom and wiring.

I thought the same thing . Next thing i know the body is off the frame and at the body shop and the frame was out getting blasted:eek: finished up some bead blasting and tomorrow hopefully the rear end and a bunch of other parts get por 15 on them . I want to get the body back on before the snow hits:biggrin:

Boost 231

How's it coming along it sure is a clean build. What all did you do/or have done to tranny before bolting on the 4" baby tub.

motor is getting there should be done by next weekend. as far as the tranny nick's neighbor went threw it last year right before the WCN. tranny only has about 10 passes on it and about 500 street miles. all i did was put the pan on and its getting fresh fluid.

My old Mease test pipe was leaking at the flange where it meets the exhaust system. The flange on the pipe was visually bent up for whatever reason. I don't know if it was soft or what. I put a straight edge across the Torque Tech flange and it's straight. So I started hacking on the Mease pipe with a cutter since it was crimped on the downpipe so tightly. Well, I cut into my 3" THDP a little bit but not enough to worry about. What did concern me was all the rust that fell out of my THDP when I pulled the test pipe off! Big huge chunks of it. The end of the THDP where the test pipe was clamped on was rotted a bit, too.

Now, I could've saved the downpipe by welding a little bit on the end but what fun would that be? I ordered up a new 3.5" polished SS downpipe from gbodyparts.com with a new test pipe (though after talking to Brian there is some question as to whether I'll get a test pipe or a dump pipe, which really doesn't matter to me).

Boost231: Where did you put your WB02 sensor? Looks pretty far back in the exhaust. Since I'm swapping out my downpipe I have an opportunity to relocate mine farther back in the exhaust stream.

Went to the garage. Opened up the hood, removed the main engine wiring harness to replace it with a new one while the engine is getting rebuilt.

Looked at it some more and wondered why I got too crazy with the boost and blew the damn headgaskets. I could be driving this thing yet!!

Ordered some more engine parts on Friday. I can't wait to get this thing back together again.!!

I'm tearing down my,fresh from the machine shop, block to clean and start mic'ing. Then it's ring gappin time. You folks have a Great day Jon Hanson

Passenger side manifold had a crack that went nearly all the way the pipe where the primary tube meets the up pipe. Had a spare manifold laying around so I figured I'd swap it out today. Broke one of the bolts that mates the downpipe to the turbine housing. There is about 1/4" of broken bolt sticking out of the housing, so I'm hoping it will come out after a good overnight soak in some penetrating oil.

Drove my car last night, going to drive it again today. I'll go to the garage and look under it and see how much oil im leaking. Realized the yoke seal started to leak while it sat for a week.

Waiting for a new bracket for my alky pump, since it broke last week, but since i just had to drive it, i flipped the bracket and drove it. I only hope it doesnt break while im driving now since its cracked a tad.
