Well today i decided to POR15 my rear axle and a bunch of other stuff including myself and my garage floor:eek: . what a mess.I did my frame at my buddies body shop.and it seemed like there was not such a mess there. next time i am brushing it on

also here is a picture of where i put my WB O2 Sensor since someone was asking.

Thanks for the pic. I've been going back and forth on where to put mine: DP or test pipe. I'll have to eyeball it once the DP and test pipe actually get here.

well i rolled the engine over today and pulled the oil pan and inspected the main bearing and they looked great. I pulled the # 3 rod cap off and inspected that bearing since it was the cylinder that had the gasket failure. well that bearing looked good also. Now since the #4 rod was up i decided to inspect it's bearings also. The bearings themselves looked good. But the #4 rod journal has 2 small hairline cracks in them. also the rolled fillet has some distorted area's in them also will try and snap some pic of them.

I drove my car to town today!!!!! First time since June (blown headgasket). Spent last two months trying to figure out electical things. I was happy just taking it easy. It started raining so I didn't want to get on it too much. But a mile from home I got on it about 1/2 to 3/4 throttle only to have it totally lose power. It gave me that sick feeling, but it would run if I didn't press the gas much at all. Pulled it back in garage were it's been hiding for 4 months and not sure if I wanted to figure it out again but I opened the hood and started checking wires when I bumped the up pipe only to find that it came off at the trottle body. It looks like I might be driving it tomorrow now!!!

Working on an aluminum power steering reservoir kit for our cars.:D Yesterday went to a local show and there were about 5 Turbo Regals there. Cleanest 84 hot air car I have ever seen was there.

Was sick today but had day off anyway...went for little tool in 61..prolly one of last before winter hits so I'll be winterizing it this week.

Pulled Buhog out and let it rip, running good but i got about 1200 bucks in parts im waiting on...watching for UPS guy after work everyday this week...im last on stop so at least im home.

Went to the track today, first time in a month and a half. Installed my mini starter last night and a few other tweeks.
300 plus cars at castrol raceway. An hour a run, managed 3 runs, 1st one push through the lights ran 11.90 @ 113, 2nd run Not enough boost, 1.9 60 11.96 @ 115mph. 3rd run and last 'cause it was time to go. It was what I was waiting for . TO break the 11.70 mark.
11.67 @ 115.19 1.74 sixty. that was with 7llbs on the line, cant do anymore till I upgrade my brakes. I'm very happy:D :D Plus it was the last runs of the season:frown: :frown:

Now to finish installing the new stuff I got over the winter
The line up

worked all day on mine. got all the wiring done under the hood all the wire loom and everything hooked up. now its just time to wait for parts. buickbert im in need of those bolts.

Great times for a street car Don ( waddell87). You certainly have paid your dues getting there.
Now what did I do today. Well, I changed the oil and filter. Wanted to try a few things, so I installed a new Denso O2 sensor, new TT Alky chip, turned fuel pressure down, lowered boost on the RJC hybrid and replaced the PCV valve. Didn't get to test drive her but sure idled nice. Great day for puttering around the garage.

that looks Dude.

But Why a 9 inch
and not a
GM 12 bolt.

To change the ratio we just have to change the center section. We live in NASCAR country and 9" center sections are easy to find. We plan to have several ratios to play with. Plus this car is a platform for bigger things to come.

Sent my chip off to Eric for an alky upgrade, so the car's in limbo right now. I hope it helps, because the thing's running like sh*t.

Got home, Goodies on porch from Full Throttle, Open box..ERGH translator on backorder. Opened box from Postons ERGH Oil fill breather on... you guessed it....... Back order!

Checked email my TT chip has been shipped..cool
went on Utube..looked at some GN races, got an itch, went out side and opened garage, fired it up, took it down the road and the itch was relieved for a moment...Kinda like Cat Scratch Fever.

And tonight ive finished my Turbo6 mouse cursor that spins when I double click vvvvvvrvrvrvrvrrrrrrrzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
