pinion angle..

I watched while my buddy set my pinion angle to 2.5 degrees. Really cant tell if it worked because I have regular street tires on the car and with the boost set at 26lbs. only a drag radial or slick will work.

Last night I installed a spacer in the TV plunger in the trans. While in there replaced the filter, topped off with Mobil 424 trans fluid.

Changed motor oil and refilled, added a little EOS.

Tonight I am going to find a way to install the Spal fans that just came in, thank you Mrs. Hartline. Also going to wire up the TCC lock switch and start the manual fan wiring, waiting on the switch still.

how are you going to wire up the TCC lockup? i still need to do that on 2 cars one bench seat one none bench seat car.

Did the installation of the aluminum power steering reservoir kit I will now be selling. Worked out slick. Teaser pics attached.

From the Turbo Buick bible(gnttype.org)
Locking up the torque converter manually has been shown to improve ET's by up to .2 seconds and add 2 MPH to your trap speed in the quarter mile. By activating this switch at the starting line, fluid will travel to the converter forcing lockup once the transmission hits second gear (there is no fluid path to converter while in 1st or reverse.) Yes, this is hard on the converter and transmission, but so is racing in general.

The switch will ground the TCC circuit regardless of ECM request. To install, run a wire from a ground location to one end of the switch and run another wire from the other end of the switch to terminal F on the ALDL connector under the radio pod. (As you are looking at the ALDL connector, terminal F is at the top left.) The easiest way to do the connection is to splice into the wire behind the connector.

Remember to flip the switch to the Off position once you are through the quarter mile to avoid unnecessary lockup, wear-and-tear, etc. With the switch in the Off position, the converter will only lockup when the ECM commands it to lockup. Note that this retains the Brake pedal override.

Geez, now I have to send you more money. ;)

Will have them added to the website this weekend! Spend away! This worked out so sweet I wish I thought of it long ago. Was reading about how the stock one is now discontinued and see the prices people are asking for used ones so that set of the old lite bulb.

let us know how this works out for you.

Bob

Meant spacer (washer) not *space. I cant type to save my life. And I will post how it turns out.

Cool. Save one for me. When you first posted about this I was like, I don't think so. I was picturing something like a chrome box, but this looks great and almost like it belongs in there.

look really awsome. you plane to make anything for the hydroboost?

Found my fan delay relay is toast. Sounds like a broke light bulb, rattle rattle.
Question:
Would you replace the relay or leave it out of the car?

Over the last 2 days... finished installing my external oil coolers, put the grill and radiator hold down back on, installed 6K HID low beam kit, installed front frame braces.

Probably the last fun I'll be having this year, cold weather right around the corner. One more oil change and car wash and she'll be away for the winter.
