the Justin84 post caught my eye so i started reading it nd then scrolled down and down and down...........wtf do we really have this many memeber the f*ck people over..

dont buy from so and so

so and so screwed me

this is crazy..start worrying about weeding these f*ckers out and not worry about the petty stuff,,like dont bash my overly priced high mileage car that i am asking 24K for and needs paint..(cars for sale)

Sorry to say ,YUP and it just keeps getting worse. The days of a MAN"S word is just about gone and it seems to be mainly the younger generation. What a SHAME !! Whole damn country's going to hell in a wastepaper basket.

Alls I can say I do what I can to help the local people out but their are some out there that are jerks. I had one guy make me drve 90 minutes for parts just to have him text me when I'm at his house that he sold everything 30 minutes before:mad:I even text him before I drove to him an nothing so I went like we planned
 
Seems like alot of these could be avoided by doing your homework ahead of time. When I see multiple people ripped off by the same person I can't help shaking my head. Seems like it is happening more and more.

The ones I have dealt with concerning used parts are still good in my book: m233roller, bweavy, intercooled88s, Lee Thompson, Mike McCoy and a couple others that slip my mind right now. These are the only people who I can rely on their word. I still trust these guys completely. :)
 
We should take more time and use the trader rating option.;) Help out the next guy.

I am guilty of that, gone from home 18 hrs a day , the last thing I want to do is leave feedback. From what I remember it wasn't user friendly ...

I my case I did a check in the feedback section and at that time there was nothing negative about the guy plus he had (and still has) a trader rating of 10. Had I known he changed his screen name I could have done a more in depth check. Maybe on a person's profile page any previous screen names could be listed so we can do a more thorough check for bad dealings? Whatta ya say moderators is it possible?

From what I understand your not even allowed to have more than one user name so there shouldn't be a need to put past usernames on someones profile. If someone is found to have multiple user names they should be banned from any user names other than the orignal as soon as they sign up with a new one. Problem is I don't know if there's anyway to determine if someone had a different user name in the past being that alot of people will just lie about names, addresses, and make new email addresses, so how can you tell who someone is now from who they were before to even add the old user names to the new profile.
 
I don't think its the newer gen of people. I am 27, been in the car scene since I was 12. Pretty much a scumbag is a scumbag. I have bought and sold parts here and have not had any problems. But I am particular who I buy parts off of. One thing is they have to have over 100 posts.

I haven't dealt with the other sellers yet, but I can agree with you on Mike, (m233roller), he is willing to help you out and tell you what you need! A "good guy"...thanks much!

I agree....I'm not sure it has anything to do with age or generation.....a douche is a douche....no matter how old they are. Post whores are out there, but you can easily do a search on their past posts to see if they have any substance to them....
