wtf is wrong with this motor?!?

This video was linked from a for sale ad on craigslist...and all I can say is that I've never seen an engine vibrate that badly. Do these motors have a harmonic balancer? If so, is this likely to happen when it goes bad? Wow and WTF at the same time!

that's about how smooth my 84 ran when i got it- it had a blown head gasket that was sending all the pressure from 2 cylinders into the intake valley and only running on 4 cylinders..

did he put a couple of plug wires in the wrong spot?
