    Timing vs Duty cycle

    I was out doing some street tuning with alky and I would swear that when I pulled about 4 degrees of timing out my injector duty cycle also dropped from @ 92 to 86 %. What I don't understand is why would duty cycle be affected by the timing? This does not make sense to me.

    Intake port opinion.

    Bolt hole break thru into the intake port. This is a GN1R head. Just curios if this is a common thing when the head has been converted to a stand style rocker arm setup? How bad is this on port flow? Would this be a good candidate for epoxy to close it up?
