Ok....so you're not needing the downpipe anymore? If I'm not mistaken you were the one that there was an issue of shipping charges. If you still want the downpipe it'll be shipped out tomorrow and forget about the shipping. If you want the refund....that is fine as well....it will just take a little longer. Let me know.....

Also guys....just for the record, which probably won't mean much once someone feels like they've been ripped off, but Marvin didn't take the money out of the account and run. Most of the money was being used on new piping and flanges. And what was left was locked and progressed into the negative when the disputes started coming up. Also, although lack of knowledge is no excuse, Marv wasn't sending out the downpipes once the disputes started popping up because he was thinking that if you disputed it then you were getting the money back right away. So he wasn't going to ship and be out of a downpipe and money. He didn't realize that part of the dispute process is just to provide a tracking number to Paypal and then go from there. Like I said....people are going to feel the way they are going to feel....but I just wanted you to know what he was thinking.

And in no way am I trying to say there was no reason to be upset.

well i just want to step in and say its nice your trying to make things right...if you people would take a step back for a second and realize he dont have to do this,this is his brother..so try to accomidate him with the info he needs to help you people get your money back or downpipe and keep the rude comments at least to after you get your stuff,heck he might get tired of it and bail?

Thanks Tommynos....but I understand these guys being pissed....I would be too. And I knew there would be a little flack to deal with when I decided to help get everything straightened out. But I'm not going to bail...wouldn't be right. Marvin's a stand up guy but just got lost in it all, wasn't very organized and didn't handle the situation properly when it went to pot. I enjoy the car forums and so does Marvin. To me they're like a separate little family. But it would be nice if I could get the remaining people to respond. I think I have figured out who they all are....so when I get off work tonight (ya'lls morning) I'll just contact them individually if need be.

It sounds like you are trying to excuse his actions because he didn't understand or know better etc..... Ignorance is no excuse for breaking the law......

Just so you know I personally PM'd Marvin and told him to STOP advertising on the board. He was not HONEST with me as he claimed to have sold a "few" and that is it. He came on this board several times impersonating other "buyers" and flat out lying to everyone here. There "seemed" to be alot more deviance going on than just getting behind on orders or WTF ever.

Again it is cool of you to try to straighten this out. But I wouldn't look for any sympathy towards Marvin.

Derek....he assured me last night that he was definitely going to make it there today to get yours and some others shipped off. But I'll definitely get with you as soon as I have a confirmation on this. I just tried to get him on the phone but his boss wouldn't let him get out from under the car he was working on....so I just called the local UPS store that he uses and he has till about 4:30 to get it up there and and get the tracking number for you. I apologize that maybe I was a little ambitious on telling you I would 2 day it to you. She just told me what the price would be and it's up there....almost 4 times as much as normal. So he's just going to send it ground....and that means it won't leave until Monday....but you will have your tracking number as proof. If he doesn't get it out....then I suppose you'll have to teach him a lesson. I tried to stress the importance to him.... Also....let me know if you're ok with the timeframe of normal shipping....if not...then I might just refund you out of my account and that's because it was my mistake and wasnt' aware of the difference in 2 day and ground. But if you are ok with it and he just flat out doesn't ship it.....then it's on him and feel free to take it to him.

Please let me know asap on the shipping issue.

See the photos I attached. I think Marvin needs his head examind if I could weld I guess it wouldnt be an issue but I cant!

And Id have to open up the main hole for the turbo as its only 2.25" and not what I would have thought it should be! 4" pipe should have atleast a 3" hole or its going to be no better than having a 2.5" pipe! Thats not that big of a deal and I could have delt with it but damn this thing is no good to me the way it is.
I have asked them to pick it up and give me a refund so well see what happens.
