Forgot to update the thread. Tyson came to pick the car up last week to prep it for paint and get her sparkling again! We drove it down the street to load it on the trailor in the church parking lot becuase my driveway is a pain to get into. It was funny becuase while we were loading it onto the trailor, the pastor came out and we thought he was going to yell at us for using the parking lot.
First words out of his mouth were "Is that a Regal Grand National?!!!"
Tyson and I were pretty stoked! The paster was thanking us for loading it in his parking lot becuase he loved the car so much and couldnt believe it was burnt to a crisp and now running! he said he graduated in 1987 and that was the "Car to have back then!!!"
The car purrs like a kitten and was put together as budget friendly as possible. Most people would have parted this car ut and used it for a stock car but this is one good example of why these cars should be restored, not parted if at all possible!!!
All and all, I'm just happy to have the car one major step closer to being back on the road after all this time! Tyson must have been pretty happy too, he bought me a 30 pack of Busch Lite!!!!! Good man right there!!!!
