My fifth time down the track bagged me a 12 second slip. See attached.View attachment CCF01062011_00001.pdf

I even left alot of power on the table. I can send anyone who wants the powerlogger file.

My thanks go out to BEATAV8, Turbobob924, Jerryl and Rick at Precsion Engine and Machine. It is through there help and input that this was possible. Thanks- Brad

And on pump gas and alky to boot!!!! Congrats, thanks for postin it up for the newbies!!! And some of us older cats too!

Nice Brad. If you get the 60' down a little more you will be able to get close to the 11's.:)

Congratulations in achieving ur goals brad that's good to hear that's music to the ears for the hotair community Thats one goal I'm also pursuing as well And I will get there sooner or later

Nice run, Brad!! It can be done just takes alot of time and patience!!

Congratulations!!

Brad,
Congratulations on achieving your goal!
Could not have happened to a nicer guy!
One thing I have admired about you; You NEVER wavered to the noise of converting to IC’d set-up during your journey.
Oh . . . thanks for the props . . . . . but I had nothing to do with your record. I was just along for the ride.

For the rest of you reading this;
The hardest thing to make a HA go fast is “to believe”.

Brad
WELL DONE, my friend. I can rememeber the time you wanted to get rid of the car... Thank GOD you didn't:cool:. If getting a HA to run fast was easy.. everyone would be doing it. Reaction time wise, probably costed a 2/10ths. Keep working on it.... this means get some MORE well deserved Track/Seat time..... BTW how boost were you running....

just looked at the log.. congrats... now put some good gas in it and turn the timing up a couple deg..

Brent- Thanks- These changes are simple as we know. The problem with adding race gas and timing is too much horsepower for the transmission. It was only built for a 13.5 quarter. The log will show it on the second to third shift point. Too low at 5100 rpm. The other issue is adding more horsepower to my stock pistons and crank. I have no clue as to when these two parts are out of their horsepower range. I will say that the car as it is runs really ****ing nice. Any input is appreciated. Thanks- Brad

i can see the issues with the trans.. stock pistons and crank will hold that's not a issue..

my trans was so bad at one point i had to lift every time for it to shift.. so i know what your saying

Brent- Thanks. This is what makes a powerlogger invaluable. Take a little time and it will show you a few problems before they happen. I am down for the winter without any issues going into the spring. Brad

Brad I know this has been a long time coming and I'm really happy you found your goal. Stock crank will go a long way, I still have stock rods and crank in my set up. Pistons are different though with maybe one or two other things. You making it to Bowling Green this year?
