Q16 will work well in any drag racing application -- naturally aspirated, nitrous or blowers. Q16 is highly oxygenated, requiring a 4-6% increase in fuel flow, which will make 3-5% more power than competitive 116 octane fuels. Q16's oxygenation will significantly expand the range of air/fuel ratio acceptability, so performance will be more consistent and won't vary as dramatically with altitude or density changes. For bracket racers, variations in ET from run to run will be substantially reduced. This added fuel flow also effectively increases its octane by 6-8 numbers above its standard ASTM octane rating.

• Motor Octane 116
• Research Octane: 120+
• Specific Gravity: .716 at 60° F

The car looked good Kevin and those plugs look very close to spot on...with my little bit of experience in playing around with ethanol Ive found that after 28 degrees of advance its time to be careful (all other factors eliminated) and up until that point it feels like miracle fuel...just got my T running on about 40% ethanol with 20psi as of last night...hoping for a 12.99 next time at least

Fuel lines are cheaper than Injectors, they also can reduce IDC by over 10%, seen it on other high HP E85 vehicles (3/8 to -8 let alone 3/8 to -10). But if you eventually do swap lines, I'd be curious what your setup sees as an IDC reduction for the same AF/R.

That's the material I'd use if I went back in time, Nitrile and not rubber just like how the rubber O-rings aren't so great after time.

On my e85 car I am not dual feeding the rails. And am using the stock tank pickup too, just welded a -8 fitting to the end of the rail, and end of the tank hanger supply line.

That's exactly it. My favorite local track is strict. My friend's and I hang out on Friday nights at the local track. We are all married and that's our night out lol. What fun is it if i can't play with my toy on my night out?

I know the feeling. Going to a chicagoland buick club bracket race this sunday at a local track that removed me in my "TSM" car for no NHRA license.... it sux.

Hey Kevin, seems like your falling into the corn addiction like some of us on here. Your problem is the injectors, a good setup for your horsepower level would be 120's if you wanna just get by with an addition of a fueler coming off the rail with a hobb switch. I'm in the process of getting my fuel setup done now with the help of my good friend gabby Rojas ... He's been going 9's for a few months already , if you got any questions send me a pm and well get in contact with you!

You guys should come to No Et at milan the next one is this weekend at milan dragray here in mich...No nhra license no roll bar no problem... Its street racing at the track you can hand flag, bet $$$ in the lanes stand behind the cars, and they rip your time slip in half and dont show ur et...Always a good time....
We had one of those no et races tonight. Kind of cool event. They do not let trailered cars in. The quarter mile lights were not working so I don't have any performance data, just seat of the pants stuff. I took fuel out, from 11.1 to eventually 11.4:1 and it felt great and was humming on the top end. I got taken out by 2 car lengths to a car that runs low 10s @ 132. I wasn't too far off his pace. My ricer math says it was a high 120mph pass prob mid 10's do to a bad 60' off the radials and unprepped track.
Went to the track again tonight. I'm having a blast with this car now! I leave the trailer at home and drive to the track. Tonight, my wife and our 3 boys got in the car and spent the evening at the track. I had my stock t wheels on the car with worn out 255/60 dr's.
Best I could do was 11.0@127 MPH with a 1.89 60' lol. That pass I came off the foot brake and it bogged down big time. I did about 3 more passes all were 11.0 at 126-127 MPH all with crappy 60's . The car and track did work together good tonight. If I launched too low it bogged, too high and it spun. The 127 was with out tire spin, so that is a pretty good number with the short tire. To add to it, I was going through at 6350 rpm, that should tell you how bad the converter is hurting the car.
Target a/f was 11.4:1
Boost was 22 creeping to 25 at the end of 3rd gear. When I put this turbo on the car, I did not port the wastegate hole because I planned on never running low boost. I think if I port it and can run 25 all the way down the track it will pick up. Also a converter will pick it up. My duty cycle at 25 psi is 90+%. I don't think a 130 MPH pass is out of the question with these 95's and stock lines. That means a low 10 sec pass with a good 60'.
Here is a pic of the boys on the ride home. I got on it hard from 5-65 and looked back and they were all smiles, my wife on the other hand looked pissed lol
