Hey TurboTGuy What do you think about what you see in this video?
Do you think that if he hasn't added oil to his engine that this is OK?

Did I post that, or ANY video when I asked the question? NO.

I'm asking him to post clear, factual diagnostics so that a decision can be made on his part as to a plan of action. He's been given a road map. As to whether he follows it is up to him. None of it has to do with Steve V any more. Get past that.

He knows it’s rings and pistons. He is avoiding the whole topic. He knows what he wrote. Stop it already. He still on the hook. For my motor and other motors he wrecked.

And when I do. Do the leakdown test you will steer me into another direction. Like pcv valve again. Catch can or discredit me that I didn’t do it right. Can’t be much worse than having my motor blown up in March 2018 and left in cemetery. Cool right?

If the leak down checks ok then we have to look else where. If it checks bad it's bad the pcv isnt going to change that

I won't steer you anywhere, I'll let other guys that are following this guide you. Got damn, I don't want any part of it, or the blame that follows if you are somehow unhappy with the results of good advice.

Yeah he was going to take it back.

You keep saying your motor is junk. I CERTAINLY am not qualified to make such a call and it doesn't sound like you are either, you have some of the best minds in this community telling you it can be this or that and you just act like a child and stomp your feet and yell "its junk." Do you want the engine fixed or do you just want to bitch?

We all know Steve built the motor now. Let one of these guys that have no dog in the fight try to help you get the issue resolved, or at least diagnosed properly. Then report back the findings. If it is bad and is on him, bitch all you want.....

Have you checked your dipstick tube to see if oil is being pushed out that? I have restrictive grommets and they created a lot of backpressure. I had to open them up...

Plug the PCV hose and go for a ride (after cleaning up any oil from the breathers) and see if you still end up with oil out of the breathers

I’m not sold on a ring/piston problem.
if the skirts are good and pistons are still sized right to the bore there
Is no reason they cannot be re-used.

guess winter is still here. Will this thread be a new winner for posts o_O:unsure: A good start is DOING A LEAK DOWN (just in case nobody mentioned this) . If you can't do it get someone local to ya do it. This isn't brain surgery ! The time wasted on here you could have the damm motor rebuilt by now.

Stand up guy. Wants me to wait around with a thumb in my ass

Agree new pistons arent always needed. But bore finish and ring selection is very important

He ball honed it the first time. Then when it was blowing oil he took to machine shop and plateau honed it without a torque plate.
