Car is in the body shop and we put on two bare doors. I need to swap my manual innards to the bare doors. Any how to's on doing this?? I should probably pick up a couple window rattle elimination kits as well, right?
Tips or tricks??

I've done the door locks, handles, and glass before, but never the tracks themselves

Time to bust out the drill motor. Most of the stuff you need to move is riveted in place.

I've never put an anti rattle kit on before, but I've had good luck gluing soft speaker box carpet on top of the existing fuzzy guides.

If your door is manual then there are a couple of holes that have to be drilled out to mount the power window motor actuator with the track. Every thing in the original car was riveted in. I believe it's either two holes have to be drilled or all four. I've done this like three times already and it can be a pain buy take your time. Make sure the ground wires are bolted back onto the door.

Just moving the manual stuff over. No power anything

Yeah, I noticed it all riveted. This will just bolt back in?

So your gonna have manual crank windows? If your not using a rivet gun then your gonna need some nuts with nylon lock washers on them.

I would go through the trouble to rivet them back in and be done with it.

Yes, there are no power options on my car

Thanks for the help, gentlemen!
