whats the fastest 4.1 production block around?

MPH was 131... but like I said it wouldnt rpm past 5K, so expect better once the bug is worked out. :D

Tom J - who needs heads and a cam when we can just turn the boost up? lol

You know the motor... next pass was a 10.009... at 28psi. Shifting at 5K. (little glitch in the ignition or fuel system to be sorted out)

Will be back to the track soon.... :)

Man we were ready to go back this weekend for the 9 sec time slip but due to an unfortunate incident of hood popping open and causing body damage to the car, we have to wait for few weeks before we get back out to the track again.:(

Local guy 6.40's in the 1/8......

100% full weighted car, even still has the steel bumper re-enforcements, sound deadner and AC. I'd guess the car at 3700 plus

Update, went 6.32 @ 109 in the 1/8 at 26 lbs of boost. Planning on turning it up Sunday.

production 4.1

Car just continues to go faster...Went a 9.92 @ 137 mph at Reynolds. Turned it 6900 rpms  They are looking for new convertor as it's driving through the old Art Carr Non L/U. No hard block fill, no girdle, just steel caps. Weight of car is 3620 with working A/C.

Has 3.600 crower crank and a "good" set of rods. Right at 270 CI. Car made several 9 second passes at reynolds. To keep from blowing thru the converter he only had 20 degress of timing up top with c-16. Talking with Cal trying to calculate HP it seems to be making around 150hp per cylinder at the flywheel to run those kind of numbers. Somewhere around a 224/224 cam. I am amazed to say the least. Very nice group of folks. Car is from Asheville NC and engine builder/tuner is from Spartanburg SC.

Is that about a 70mm turbo or so? Those are impressive numbers..I feel inspired!! -Steve
