I'd like to thank Jack and the rest of his gang for the support they gave me at the BPG nat's. I had some issues with my new combo on friday and saturday. Twice I had to be towed back to the pits from the track. Brian (oops I had it in reverse) was there with "buggy" before anyone knew I was missing. When I got to the pits I had several guys helping solve the problems and fixing it. One time the nut on the back of the alt. came loose the other time the coolant temp sensor failed. Thanks Sully for donating your sensor, I wouldn't have made another pass without it.
I ran a personal best of 10.02, qualified #2 at 10.06. I still have some spooling issues to work out before I can go some rounds.

Its

GREAT to have people like this in the buick community :)

Way to go Cottons crew and Sully

Bpg

Congrats Phil,
It was a fun weekend, despite being under the weather
I had a good time....
Thanks to all that made it possible

:) It was a fun weekend. Congrat's Phil on your personal best of 10.02 and it was great having both you and Jack qualify second. It was nice to see your wife, daughter and son. Happy Birthday Mikey. I'd like to thank Junior for his fabulous cooking....the BEST tenderloin and jambalaya. The Bambi burgers were really tasty! Sully was a great help answering all my questions and bringing c.c. cookies and corn (and even cooking). Brian and Bob are the best traveling crew anywhere....thank you for all you did. Phil...I expect 9's soon...Brian..back in the 11's...Junior to not lift next time he races...Bob to stop breaking out and Sully to have his luck turn around! Thank you Barb for your help and keeping an eye on the tent. Farmer...good luck and we wish your wife an extra special birthday! It was fun meeting and spending time with Joe L., Tony O. and friend, Phil from the Vineyard, Big Mike and girlfriend, Travis and Nick, Rich and Rich's Auto Krispy Kreme Crew, Barb and Bill Savino and the many others I met. Special thanks to the BPG club and officals for another outstanding event.

Phil, it was a pleasure towing your car....twice. Did you make the elusive 9 second pass on sunday?

Thanks so much to everyone for the hospitality and good food.

Junior, you're the man!!! Thank you so much for the help with the tranny and letting me use your trailer. That trailer is just awesome, gotta get me one of those.

Hope Mikey liked his cake. Happy birthday.

I'm going racing on sunday at Indy, we'll see what happens. Shooting for 10.50's.

John Hudson
aka Farmer

 I'm over 50 and I forgot to mention a few people who really helped with packing up our parts and helping with the tent...Mary and Larry provided the muscle, Pat with getting the tent opened, and good converstions with his wife and Steve C. and Jay. Thanks everyone!

Lorrie

PS Call us with your Indy results Farmer. Good luck!

Phil, glad you and your son had personal best ET's. With all the thrashing you had to do to make BPG, I'm glad your problems were relatively easily solved. 9's will happen your next time out. Way to go! Also can't thank Jack and Lorrie for being exceptiona host/hostess at BPG. They hosted 8 cars in Camp Cotton and the CPT Cruiser logged lots of miles. What can one say about the feasts we had in Ohio? I can't wait till I make my own Low Country Boil that we learned how to do from Junior. If you ever give up your day job, you can definitely open up your own restaurant.

Had a great time, meeting old friends and making new ones, thanks Jack and Lorrie for letting me try and help around the camp and Sully for letting me help him TUNE his car :D :D, Bob and Brian for all of the anticks and keeping everone going, you are welcome Farmer in the use of the trailer (that is what it is all about, helping out one another). Phil it was great meeting you and your son getting that alusive time slip that he had been working for, appears that your next :D.Great seeing Barb and Mikey there hope you liked your Birthday cake , again thanks to all who was there and hope to see you all again soon. Jr.

You guys are great .....
I would never of imagined my wife approving of you two going out and getting me a girl :D
It was a fun time @ BPG I regret not coming back out Saturday to enjoy my Cake with everybody...
Thanks again
Tony er..um I mean Mikey

I had a great time also and I'm feeling quite special to have been able to spend my time there in Cotton's Camp. Thanks to Mikey for showing me a parking space, Laurie for keeping me from drying up and starving, Brian for letting me take pictures of your new turbo, Junior for the great Jambalaya and the gauges, Laurie again for the popcorn and Jack for sharing it with us all, Farmer for just being nice down to earth people, Bob for letting me keep my water in his cooler and Sully for being, well, Sully - who seems to be one to keep on keepin on, no matter what. And of course, Jack Cotton for everything - for without him, I would never have met all the fine people mentioned above...

I hope to be seeing you all at more events in the future.

Phil from the Vineyard (the black car with the blue stripe)
