Boobs, go buy some damn lug nuts man. Your starting to sound a lot like Austin. Missing 7 lug nuts mean you have only 3 lug nuts on 3 wheels and 4 on one. Thats a real good way to break your lugs.

I'ma try to get to the junkyard this week to get a header panel, and lug nuts are on my list. As well as some form of shifter handle and scope out some brown interior parts and maybe a power seat track assy. Anybody know if full size cars have the same track? Damn plastic gear shattered on mine.

Ok, so it wasn't the alt. I put a "new" batt in and still nothing. I called a tow. It's home but I haven looked at it. I'm guessing the fusible links are blown. Due to a short. Melted wires. I'll know more later, when I get off my ass, and do something.

Austin, didnt you just have a wire that was melted after ts last motor install? Does the car turn over at all?

What if I have 5 on 2 wheels and 2 on one and one on the other?

SeneCAN'T....meaning in order to live there, you are not allowed to (can't) have a vehicle that is complete....

The wires going to starter were pinched between the trans dip stick and fire wall. Every bump I hit pinched them until it finally blew the fusible links. So now I have a reason to change things around :)

Well if you're gonna do it, do it this way. Mine are going to the pos terminal on the battery. Mmmm spaghetti....

Well I gotta say its nice to be able to see/check all the fusible links right behind the battery, and I'm glad I did it since that repair by the starter was simply tied together by hand and heat shrunk and I pulled it apart by hand, but its damn frustrating to do all that work and the alt still doesn't charge. BTW those fuselinks run every damn thing in the car except the big wire to the starter and the ecm power. :sigh: guess ill pull the fkin cluster apart sometime this week

Well bob I did do something similar. Not so birds nest, but like that. I don't think I'll have any problems with it now. I'll snap a pic sometime

Well I sorta posted that while I was in process of doing it. It looks slightly better now
