I just find it funny how he is fixing it at cost when it is outside of warrenty, the guy posted when it wasn't his place, and the actual owner has no issues whatsoever...yet Formula STILL can't just say 'sorry'! He's gotta keep adding "as long as you do this...do that...."

Say sorry and move on!!

Lonnie has gone waaay above and beyond customer service in my case. Had some problems and he did everything in his power to correct them up to and including replacing the unit with a highly upgrade trans. Yeah, I wish he could have done it in a week but I'm a big boy and know I'm not the only guy he's doing business with. I'd do business with him again in a heartbeat. Wish there were thousands more like him.

Point of my long post? This thread should be deleted! No way does Lonnie deserve a bogus thread like this popping up on a search by a potential customer. Bull**** headlines may be good for popcorn, but hitting a guy where he lives without pulling your head out of your ass is just wrong.

personally i dont think its right to slander a mans name and biz in the dirt infront of a small comunity where he is a specialist in that type of work.

not many good 200 builders ... we dont need to bad mouth .. the good ones in my opinion.

Easy to talk shyt about someone ... hard to build a good reputation

this whole thread should have never happened, glad it has been worked out! i too am a one man show who takes great pride in my work, both in race cars and in perf. automatics, i know how hard it is to stay in business today. let the man do his thing, i'm sure he will do whats right. i have thought about sponsoring this sight, but after this i'm not sure.....

This site has much less drama than most. You have to remember, the majority rules, not the minority. Unfortunately the minority is usally the ones being heard because of their off the wall posts. Most of those in the minority arent serious enough to be buying good quality parts anyways. The quiet ones are the ones that are really spending the money and we know who is best to buy from!;)

I think Lonnie has a big enough following here and elsewhere to unhurt by this thread. Merry Christmas to you Lonnie.

this has already been hashed out with the OP apoligizing. Why don't we just let this one die?

Say I was to delete the thread.... Many have seen it and are going to think that something was wrong and I was protecting a vendor...

This way, things get worked out. Lonnie's rep was actually made stronger IMO. Plus it is there for all to read and not "wonder" what happend to the thread. Then only to be brought up in another thread later and saying "Admin protects etc..."

We don't protect vendors. If you are a good vendor you don't need protection... 99% of the time things work out this way...

Thread is dead:smile:
