I'm just curious what experiences others have had with their Alky kit nozzles VS. exactly where they placed it/them. Does anyone feel particularly strong about the distance from nozzle to throttle body, etc.?

I'm not sure how your system is plumbed compared to my turbo mustang setup, but i'd keep it downstream of the BOV (if you have one).

I have a 1/8 npt coupler welded into the outside of the uppipe just before the turn towards the TB. I use a long extension with a 10mm socket to install my nozzle. I don't know whether it makes a difference and it is not hidden. So if you're going for the stealth look, mine is definitely not it. Although, the coupler, elbow and uppipe is powdercoated black (the threads were protected so I could thread the nozzle and elbow into position) and the braided feed hose is covered with black split loom.

put mine in the exit side of the intercooler right below the coupler hose.
works great and isn't hanging out up high.

Higher than the tank if possible to eliminate chances of siphoning..

No performance difference as far as I know off.

my tank is lower than the nozzel, no siphoning issues then. the solenoid is a good idea though...

i am running a dual nozzle setup and i have both nozzles across from each other at the very top of the uppipe near the throttle body...no problems here

pics are on my website...

Ok. I just did the same thing as Mark and Zam70. So far it hasnt leaked, but does this solenoid still exist (lind dont work)? I may want it for precautionary measures.

I inadvertently plumbed mine after the tb on my SVO. Started it and she stumbled alot. I realized what I did when the upper intake plenum started icing up!

On the TR I put it on the under side of the bend on the up pipe.

Hahhaa! Means the search function is working. Some people can learn from this. lol

I just put it in the up pipe again. No check valve when its lower than tank aint gonna work.
