I think the car is just totally awesome, Brian, I will tell you that people like yourself and everyone involved in the build are hard to find!!!! Great job. . . . I'm sure we can all agree you've put a lot of heart, time and sweat into this car and who ever wins it will certainly be VERY lucky..!!!!! Keep up the outstanding work!

Couldn't agree more. Shane is by far one of the most giving people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Brian continues to show the community why he is #1. The person getting this car is not only getting a car but getting a piece of history almost.

Powder coated parts arrived this evening finished the bolt ons & getting ready to drop in.
Pats convertor hanging with the rebuilt Fred's Turbo performance trans.
Chris from CK donated the parts.
Kip Asplund donated the trans pan. Kip is also sending us up a cold air kit as well! Thanks Kip nice unexpected suprise.

wow that motor looks killer. car is looking great. everyone has really come toghter on this car.I hope who ever wins this car drives it and keeps it and doesnt part it out or whatever. this car will have alot of history thats for sure.

The hi temp powder coated headers were donated by Sam Balls.

This was the set we ported for Sam.
Our new local powder coater stepped up & did this for us & TFT.

Kevin Jones of Kentucky Took care of us on all the brackets & tubes needed to complete the rest of it.

Classictube stepped up & donated the Stainless steel fuel feed & return lines.
They also donated the stainless Turbo feed line ( They just don't know it yet ) :eek:

Russ Merrit's wires look great as always.

New A/C compressor by Savanah Air!

75 Mm tb & plenum from HYE TECH Catches your eye everytime.

Casper's cam sensor LED cap , but of course.

motor looks sick. what did you guys all do to it internally? i must have missed the post if you already told us.

ok took a look and this is what i got for internal work.

204/224 cam
Lifters
Double roller timing chain
Roller button
Rocker shaft supports
RJC Head gaskets
 
Motor going in.

Me & James Had the motor dropped in,trans bolted up,Motor mount bolts in & secured in about 15 minutes.

Then of course after a long few months you can see it is Corona time :cool:

Lifters

Rocker shaft supports
RJC Head gaskets

Actually Jason got a little behind on the gaskets. I installed Fel pro & torqued them down to 100 lbs.
We checked all bearings & internals.
Heads Banning & I ported. Intake I ported left the EGR tower in place.
ARP bolts through out.
