Stroker 4340
Champion irons
EA stage 3 200r4
210/215 kit FTS
1.55 HS rockers

PTE SLIC
3200 stall edge

Goals are street car to beat all corvettes vipers etc

Prob won't race this one
Other 87 GN is mid 9 second race car

Need it all to fit under stock turbo shield and question is tA 6262 or 6265 for killer street car and which AR housing if use stroker kit?

Haven't bought injectors but prob 60 pound with hot wire to the larger Racetronix in tank pump

I have a MFS 6262 with a Garret .63 exhaust housing from Bison in a stock TA housing on a non-stroker motor with a V4 SLIC and a ~3-3200 stall converter and am really happy with it. Boost comes up quick and it pulls hard.

With the stock cover you are going to need all the ex pressure you can get to keep boost from falling off if you turn it up. 70lbs/min no problem with the larger covers. Maybe 60lbs/min on a stock cover with the same wheels.

Is the .63 for stock stroke and .85 more for stroker?
.63 still better if 249 CID for street?
Car will be 93 and no Alky

I know my other track car is the larger housing

If you're not planning on running the turbo beyond 50lbs/min use a Garrett .63

Is 50lb/min roughly 500 RWHP on average?
Probably a little over 500 depending on cam and heads. You would need some rpm and good heads to make 500hp on a 93 only application

Don't think the .85 ar is offered for the 6262 in 3 bolt.
I run the 6262 .63 on my 260ci ford v6 with edge converter also. Spooled instant. That turbo is happy in the 500-550 range. I'd choose a 6266 for your motor.

To really fit under the stock cover, if you get the Kirban $185 downpipe for the stock (ported) elbow, make sure you use muffler paste to seal the slip fit. I had to cut down an allen key to get my bolts to go in. But I sold that GN and have the key if you go that route I can send it since I don't need it.

On pump, should be able to go high 10's low 120's on a stroker with good heads. However, vettes like C6 Zr1's and the C6 and C7 Z06's will be a handful if the air is cool. Maybe the best you could do is stay even with a new Porsche turbo, they are stupid fast out of the box.

I run a .63 and it spools a large shaft 66mm 45a very fast. However, that is due to the external wastegate setup, same setup with a traditional HD actuator and houston style pipe and puck it spooled too slow for my liking off the stock solenoid.
