I just did a tranny fluid and filter change on my oldsmbuick, it has a Th350 beefed up tranny in it 3000 RMP stall converter. I found some Grey & metal filing in the bottom of the pan, How much is too much?
Stupid question time. Can a 200R4 from a junkyard be rebuilt to the Buick needs? I know the Monte's had a different valve body, but can these be made in a 3000-rpm Stall with a Lockup. (I don't have a computer, But could make it so it locks up when in goes into 2nd or any higher gear.) This what I would like to do since I drive to the Track and with the TH350 I’m turning 3200 rpms @ 60MPH.
