What a waste of $1500. I was fooled into buying Martelious- exhaust headers with all the fancy pics. First set the flange would not even line up with the head bolt holes. After laying 55$ in duties the second set was worse! I finally messaged them to fit and after driving 150 miles the crossover flex pipe broke at 15 psi! Fucking garbage. Without a doubt the worst investment i ever made with my GN. Avoid these beaders at all cost!

Post pics of headers. Never seen a "Flex" pipe on the Gee M/Martelious style and FWIW Martelious stopped making the headers for Gee M last Oct. When did you get these?

They are Gee-M . purchases 9/19/18. Spoke to Arto several times in the past due to fitment issues. They added the flex pipe duebto people having fitting issues if I remember correctly. I have low signal. Cant upload pic at the moment

Man that sucks I’ve heard good things about them. Definitely post some pics I would love to see what you are speaking about. What kinda power are you making? I’m sure you have heard this but the stock headers are good for low 9 sec power .

Here you go. I never pushed pass 5 psi because the motor needed a tune. During tuning today 15 psi was hit and this happens. Unreal.

What kinda motor is it ? A stage block? 109? Aluminum TA?

109. Why would it matter? This is a massive failure. I hope I had no metal go to turbo

I am just curious. I’m almost thinking they sent you a set made for a on center motor that’s the only thing I can think of to the cause of it being so far off . Basically your cross over pipe had way to much tension or compression on it when you bolted it up .

The crossover lined up pretty damn good djring install. I did not put stress on it. Do other guys on the board have the same design crossover with these flex pieces?

I don’t believe so . So you are saying the headers bolted up fine and you are just pissed because of this coupler blew out on you is this the reason u say they are garbage? I to would be pissed if I spent 1500 and they blew out like that. When I built my on center stage motor I had to modify my crossover pipe so when I did I did add a flex coupler . My couple was a lot cheaper then the one that was used on your pipe . Your coupler was like 80-100$ compared to the one I bought for $30

So your couplers have a flange at the end of them so they can bolt to the headers? I am trying ro figure out how to fix this. I have seen 2x4 ss flex pipes on amazon with mild steel flanges.

Get rid of the flex pipe. If there are good v-bands on the headers you don't need the flex

you know what site to go to for the ss tubing? Also what ga thickness should I go for?
Racepartsolutions.com

I doubt the turbine is hurt. I've seen that happen several times with LS turbo crossover pipe, not one got hurt.

If you want I could fix them for you if u don’t have a Tig welder. I would eliminate the flex coupling . I ended up takin mine out . Shoot me a message if u need someone to fix them . I have a 109 on the stand right now that I could use as a fixture to get them positioned right
