as the topic states, i need advise on choosing injector size and converter stall for my combo. i bought a gt6152s and currently have 42.5#'s on the car right now. are 50#'s enough? is 3200-3400 stall too much? i dont need lockup either, street manners do not matter as it will see 95% track. thanks to all.

Depending on whether your heads are ported or not, I would say you will max out the 50's with that turbo. I know I did with a PT52 once I went ot ported heads and a cam. 3200 -3400 stall is right where you want it with that turbo.

I've got the 60# Motrons for my car, but I also have ported heads, 214 cam. My GT6152S will be going on after I finish going through the motor (rod bearing woes), along with the Motrons and PTE fmic. I would also be leery of the MSD 50's....I had a set on my GN and they cost me a head gasket when they went static due to elevated fuel pressure. I would just go with the Motrons.....better safe than sorry.

Convertor wise, I have a Pat's 3200 l/u in my T, and it works great. It's waayyy too much stall for the smaller Turbonetics unit I have on the car now.....boost came on VERY fast....but should be an awesome match with the GT6152S.

turbo/injectors

I currently have a GT61-52E turbo. I have 55lb inj with my combo and a 9X11 3200 stall and my combo works great. no lag with it. i would say go ahead and get bigger injector than what you need cause you might be modding it again in the near future. i also have ported irons with a stock cam too

thanks for the input guys. i do have ported stock heads and it does have a cam. will i need to modify the ecm for begger injectors? you guys think 72's are too much? i think i may mod it more later and dont want to buy 2 sets of injectors.

If you go with 60's you will not have to mod the ECM. 60's should be good into the mid 10's, espcially if you have enough fuel pump to take you there. Otherwise, mod the ECM (it's really no big deal) and get 72's or 75's.
