Why is this site so damn slow?

Ever since the new site, every day at some point i get "database error" when trying to log on and the site seems consistantly slower. Really irritating waiting 5 minutes to get somewhere.

I literally get up and go to the refrig or go do something else waiting for the last thing I click on to finally appear. I have a coulpe buddys that flat wont get on this site anymore because of it!! Its been slower thanXX??*** for me for at least a year now. Sucks!!! Mike:frown:

Seemed like it got better for awhile...then back to the database errors again.
Quite frustrating. Hope they get it fixed soon.

Im not shooting the messenger hear , but for a lot of us its been pitifully slow for a long time. I wish I knew how to video tape my screen with a clock in view of the picture , then post it back on here. That would get the wheels rolling!! Something is terribly wrong!! Just advising you of whats going on out here!! Mike:frown:

I wish I could get mine to mess up. The site loads great for me.

For those of you who are having issues, could one of you uninstall all java components and see what happens after rebooting. I NEVER INSTALL JAVA and the site loads fast.

Because it's the greatest Turbo Regal site on earth. A hub if you will.

Edit that. It loaded fine until I tried to put my response in, then it didn't load. I had to refresh twice for it to post.

It was fine when I first logged on this morning, but then it started going slow again....took about 2 minutes to open the turbo lounge page...

Seems we have multiple issues going on...

#1. Is the load factor at night, which seems to be the time the error occurs most frequently...

#2. Software problems. It appears we have so many different members using different applications some are conflicting...

We are working on the problem, please be patient with us...

10-4 on the heavy night usage, which is a good problem to have. I have no problems the rest of the day. I'm sure everyone will be patient. Too awesome of a site to not be patient.

Seriously its aggrivating enough to work on these cars and get them working. Now i come to vent and get some cooldown words on here, and this doesnt work either!!!! It must be a buick thing lol
