looks like they used Q-jets on the 81-83 318s to replace the TBI systems. lol theres a handy guide to making more power with the 318..damn im drooling over the idea of having a decently revving 318 with mods and blow through turbo.....damn my lack of money :(

well, nobody has any money right now... everybody broke... let me not start on this.... Kinda stressing out here a bit thats all.

Just in case any one wondered Aj has been in the desert blowing things up. That's why he hasn't been on lately.

fugures, he is a pyro by nature, and a Carb turbo specialist frankenstien second:D

come back in one piece now you here....

What the h_ll is going on with your sig Kid. You become a raghead?

its something a past good friend of mine used to tell me.... and it really stuck with me... and thats one quote ill always remember him by. its also a quote mentioned in a song. been around for awhile actually...

hey hey hey,well..... hey, what happen to gran turismo??? my ZR1 is still a wager... youll have to battle some other peeps as well. Its blue with custom rims. 638hp of LS9 power.

I`v been pretty busty lately, but we`ll get cracking on it soon... I need to get something worth the wager:biggrin:

I have two rather busty chances.....one lives 20 miles away and is 5'0", double Ds, nice round bottom.....the other lives in Seattle, 5'1", large Bs or small Cs, slimmer body......the Seattle chick is deaf, the Monmouth chick is hearing but knows little ASL :D

car related; remember that 80s regal with primer and olds rally wheels i was talking about? i found it again, its got a 307 v8 and is in far worse shape than i thought....theyre asking $700 for it, looks like it used to be a maroon car, but springs are shot or cut, wheels are not correct, engine is missing alot of little things......then theres the $500 1979 Riviera with moldy interior, torn seats, half landau top, v8 engine....original buick big bolt pattern 15" rally wheels...may or may not run.

I learned my lesson in buying a ford.... hop in, turn the key, and nothing happens.... another paperweight to my collection:frown: shoulda got a caprice or the cutlass sedan.

shoulda come down here with friends and gotten something more reliable :D heres an idea. sell what you can, save up what you can, and when you're coming down thru here, PM me and if ya got the money, i think they;ll sell the Imperial for $1000-1500 up front cash money gangsta. I mean, even if you get $1000 out of the RV and the Lincoln.......and then there's the Marquis if you're willing to let go of it....

Get a test light and find out if the battery is down or if you lost connection. It's probibly something really simple that you should be able to fix your self.

ive narrowed it down to either the crank sensor (20 bucks at az) or the ICM (200 at az:eek:) found a mark VIII at the local pull-a-part that ill be yanking both from.

BTW is there a website where i can find a wiring scematic? more importantly where the the dang ICM is located. I think its near the passenger strut tower, so ive been told.

the marquis i gave to my mom, I value the 85 Merc at about 1000 even, Exellent shape and low mileage for its age. If i cant get the lincoln up and going, its going to the yard, same for the RV, but im Keepin the 440!!

if you can get the lincoln up and running, you could get $800 for it, right? rv, $200, but honest? ditch the whole rv, keep the engine, trans, driveaxle, and sell that combo, i'm sure you'll find people wanting the 440 for their musclecar projects....hell i've seen just 440 engine no trans go for $500 alone.....heck it might be a great swap in place of the LA series 318 in the Imperial, and the car's got room for it....lol.
